We are thrilled to announce that our ‘Organic Wild Garlic & Basil Olives’ have won a BOOM (Best of Organic Market) Award.
We were one of 400 initial entrants, and following a rigorous judging process by a professional panel of industry experts, we were crowned the ultimate winner in the ‘Best of Organic Chilled & Frozen – Savoury’ category at the finalist ceremony at The Paintworks, Bristol on July 10th.
The BOOM Awards, organised by the leading organic certifier Soil Association Certification in partnership with headline sponsor Ocado, celebrates the very best of the UK’s organic industry. This is the UK’s only organic award, and we are incredibly proud to be recognised among such inspiring producers and brands.
This is what two of the judges had to say about our ‘Organic wild garlic & basil olives’:
“These olives are great. They’re really plump and juicy. They’ve got a lovely bit of texture when you bite down on them, which I think is really important with olives. The flavours around them with the wild garlic and basil, that’s exactly what you taste and I find that super important in any product. I want to taste whatever’s on the tin, and that’s exactly what these guys do.”
“All the flavours you want are represented here and there’s a little bit of garlic, a bit of basil on every single olive. Really do feel the freshness of those olives all the way through. Really, really good.”
